Published beach lots and meters routinely run $40+ per day on sunny weekends. When you book a Hampton home with me, you get the private spots listed on that property page — you’re not hunting a meter after you unload.

Overflow lots and meters

Bringing more cars than the listing allows? Drop gear at the house first, then move overflow cars to a public or private paid lot. State Park at the south end of Ocean Blvd is the big lot and fills first. The Police & Fire Station lot is central. Meters run on Ocean Blvd and side streets — ParkMobile lets you pay from the sand. Meters are enforced from 8 AM to midnight in most areas. Private lots on Ashworth, Ocean Ave, and the side streets vary by weather; check daily vs overnight rates.

Lawrence’s tip: arrive before 10 AM

If you are coming with more cars than the rental can fit, try to arrive before 10 AM. Lots fill fast on summer weekends, and paid-lot pricing is usually lower in the morning.

Avoid the Tow

Never block a driveway, even for a minute to unload. Do not park in Permit Only residential zones without a permit. Hampton enforcement tows or tickets quickly. Stay in the spots listed on your property page.
