Hampton Beach State Park / Main Beach

No pets May 1 – September 30. Pets OK October 1 – April 30. Leash 6 feet or less.

Town beaches: Sun Valley & Plaice Cove

Memorial Day – Labor Day: leashed dogs before 8 a.m. and after 6 p.m. Off-season: leashed dogs any time. Plaice Cove is rocky — not ideal for dogs, still an option. Winter (Oct–Apr) is when State Park allows dogs — pair with a winter stay if you need a month.
